Collaboration is a necessity when it comes to working in a university center. Downing Student Union houses 16 of our campus offices, and as an employee of the Union, I am in constant communication with the professionals from these offices. Ensuring there is a firm, open line of communication is pertinent in this field, and I am even more aware of this fact now that I have been exposed to it.

Also, my coursework in Human Resource Management and work in the Student Life and Engagement Office at Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College has exposed me to creating and implementing budgets, and how to reallocate funding in the most effective way possible.
